i just had to share this. to anyone wanting a cheap BOV i recomend buying some boost pipeing off ebay. the pipes kept blowing off wich was a pain but today my mother had to borrow my gtd. i was quite impressed when she returned and had done this. shes used to driving a tired old peugeot estate. according to her she got a bit carried away racing a bmw. i was trying to imagine the face of the bloke driving the bmw when he got wasted by an old age pensioner in a soot billowing mk2 golf.
this happend shortly afterwards

dont use rubber sewer couplers. they dont like boost or oil. mine split all the way around except for about a half inch where the 2 halves were still connected.

most of the pipes are connected using cut up bits of scrap intercooler pipeing wich works well. just ran short on a couple of places so had to use the rubish provided with my universal pipeing kit off ebay. they normally last a few months until they are all bloated out of shape, this time they didnt.
