I need to finish my build ASAP

I can get some pics, but the 83 GTI will not make it much more than a trip to the farm for parts.

Yesterday I was running around to customers and hit a bump with about 400 pounds in the rear seat and trunk. The steering wheel went 45 degrees to the left. I thought "alignment, crap, I am almost done with my other car and don't want to spend any on this one." When I got home it was not front end but rear. My rear swingarm ripped free of the body on the passenger side. It almost hits on the fender.

Bad day for me. Basically running out of cash for the car and now this happens. I need to buy a car until the jetta is done or finish the jetta in 2 days. My truck gets about 15 mpg and I drive over 100 miles everyday, I can't work like that. Anybody got a car they want to rent

Yikes, good thing you weren't on the highway. The same thing happened to my friend on his Scirocco.
