I love the diesel Harley but it lost the sound of a Harley lol.
I

You say that like it's a bad thing?  ;)

My thoughts exactly. I always assume that those harley guys just can't get it up.

Next time the father in law has his bike out Ill get some pictures and a video of it.

Every harley i've ridden (10-15) was junk! I'd take a Honda VTX 1800 any day over one of those spine busters... with a set of pipes the VTX's sound better than a harley and are faster as well anyway. People only like harley's for the name/image thing. I sold rec vehicles for a living and converted several lifetime die-hard harley guys with a test ride on my boss's piped VTX. I don't have stock in either one (and don't sell anymore) but an open mind and an honest voice would choose the VTX if they care about price, quality, performance, sound, resale value, maintenance,  etc., etc...

Agreed.  I cannot understand how people will plunk down 10k or more for a HD.  Buying anything from a company that continues to build their engines incorrectly just for sound purposes while sacrificing power and efficiency is beyond me.

The Father in Laws Harley is really efficent and is not ALL sound, the ones you hear that make the ground shake is because they changed the exhaust to make it like that. His has the harley sound to it but isnčt loud

No, but his still has the single crank journal for both connecting rods, which is retarded.  Unless he has a V-rod or swapped a Revtech engine in it.
