john titor?
« on: May 29, 2010, 10:57:43 am »
I was looking about for more information on theoretical time travel to quench my bottomless thirst and found this name in the wikipedia article.  Thoughts? As well as Hakan Nordkvist

you know, decarbonated beer is a better coolant than the stuff you buy at the auto store, and is better for you...... really

I certainly believe that it is possible, however, I cannot be sure of how others have supposedly done it.  I will agree that using singularities to distort/manipulate spacetime.

I didn't look in the wikipedia info, but he came back to score an early model of computer which could be used to perform a specific task. His earlier self is said to be living somewhere in Nebraska and I think would now be about 13 years of age or so.
I don't know if his earlier posts are still available to read.

I don't really believe much I read on wikianything so I'm especially wary of information from the interwebz involving extraordinarily complicated subjects like time travel. For the record I do believe that time travel is theoretically possible, I do not think humans or any other known race will have the technology to apply the theories any time soon. Let me know when we get somewhere in the ballpark of light speed then we can start talking about time traveling.

if a being were to accelerate to the speed of light it's mass would become infinite Albert Einstein
I think that traversing lightspeed is more along the lines of fantasy, however traveling from one place in spacetime is something entirely different.  I believe that the secret lies within the casmir effect created by the two singularities side by side and the use of a tipler cylinder or similar device caused by the istortion of spacetime in the middle of the two singularities, I really do not believe that we are too far off, and it might also explain all or some of the ufo sightings perhaps this form of travel is already in use in another location in spacetime ;)  I'm not on drugs, I just tend to try to keep an open mind.  Shoot, why else would I attempt to build the radical 1.6 frankenmotor that I plan to finish building while tackling the battle of the builds. 8)

That would come in handy from time to time......... ;D
'82 Rabbit, I put on a euro vnt-15, 2.25" DP, 2.5" exhaust, the result.....it whistled.

I removed the turbo, made a toilet bowl 2.5" DP, the result....it was deafening. Now it has a homemade muffler up front and a thrush in the rear, the result.....less loud.

I can tell you that "the middle east" clerics give it to extremists before a big fight, makes them incredibly hard to kill. :o

drugs are the closest thing to invincibility that humans can achieve. kinda sad.

I strongly disagree, the secret to invincibility, I believe, lies inside the depths of the human mind, something that we have long since forgotten the true potential to use.
