They aired the bit about my car on Discovery Channel Canada this week, here's a link to the clip --

Yipes, I'm a bit of a ham!

The engine is a hydro 1.6 with all ARP fasteners and a metal HG. It has a Giles pump and a mechanical controlled VNT 15 blowing through a 944 turbo intercooler into a GTI long runner manifold.

Good Job..and you were by far not the only ham in that program.

very nice... that diesel's gotta be easier to work on that one of those twin cam porsche engines.

that was kinda disappointing
cool for you and everything, but it was like watching a science experiment for 10 year olds
they didn't say anything about the car itself or what you're doing with it
