gtd clutch cable (help plz)

hi iam new here and i have got a mk2 jetta and have fitted a aaz engine and have just got myself a gtd intercooler but as i have just found out i need a clutch cable iswell but i cant one from maindealer or gsf. does any1 know where i can get 1 from bcoz a company must do 1 somwhere.many thanks in advance.

i also have some wiring problems but will post some pics later.

I think a company called Quinton Hazel produces it.

Part number should be QCC1373.

See if a local motor factor can get it. Or try ALS motor parts as they deal with this company.

i know i need to put some pics up but i dont know if u would know on my pump i have some spare wires not connected to anything bcoz my car use to be a 1.6td in it and now i fitted a aaz engine out of a mk3 in it so less wires on my loom and didnt know if they where important there is a white box on the bottom of the pump with 2 wires coming from it not connected to anyfing and a round sensor with 2 wires coming out the back of the pump where the fuel lines come out to go to the injectors not conected any help would be great.

hi jim

glad to be of help. make sure the cable has a bend in it at the gearbox end, as this is the thing that makes it different from normal cables.

sorry cant help on the AAZ bit, though if you struggle with getting it working let me know becuase i've got an AAZ pump without all the electric crap, and the manual idle adjustment and cold start im selling.

ok i will check for the bend and its running and been running for the last couple of months so dont know if i need them any way but i will keep u posted if i need that pump cheers will. i will just post the wiring fault again to see if any1 knows thanks
