I got my 1.9 aaz from that shop. When I went to pick it up they had that engine ready to be loaded in my truck. Being a noob I didn't know what was better (still don't) But I was after a mchanical engine. That Motor looked complete with ECM and most wires. Very clean (like mine) like it wasn't in a car too long.

appearently your a pretty fresh noob, talking about 1.6 diesels and ECU's in the same sentence.. lol. no old diesels had ecu's that im aware of. or much wiring. lol.

These guys get diesels pretty regularly from Japan, not just VW, I've seen Mitsu, Toyota & Nissan diesels in the store.
