VW Caddy Rear Window Seal ( Replacement )

I purchase  a new slider from CRLAURENCE.COM and there quality is better than new, silver or black finish

The seal is a NLA from VW, and there are several shops that sell a replacement : ebay / caddy forum etc.

The seal that is being sold is a vw beetle rear seal that fit's terrible with gap's.

There is Vintagerubber.com that carries the original design for 65.00 ( epdm ) Rubber

Since Iam a silicone guy , I want a black smooth aerospace grade material ( glossy ) and will have a die made and start a limited production.

Silicone is a lifetime material and is easier to install....

I believe he's out of the caddy world. Might try looking on ebay? I know one of the vendors there was selling some of the other silicone bits he was making. Or maybe try sending him a PM which might get into his email box?
