My build is complete!
Its running too You guys have been great helping me out with questions. Thank you Rabbit on Roids for the quick answers to my questions, and thank you Tyler for the smoking deal on that alternator (which happens to fit that  clutched pulley I bought off you). I have a question though, When I installed the alternator and started the car, it seemed to put some load on the engine (which i imagine is normal) but after 5 minuter of running, the alternator was hot to touch (not warm, Hot!). I dont remember from before if it was or not, Is this normal?

That's very strange that that one works with the pulley Ed. Glad it does though

You would need to measure how much amperage the alternator is putting out (I suspect)

If it's low amperage then you have a problem if it's high then it could be normal. I'm just guessing though.
