vaccum pump install problems
«

Hello all
I pulled the vaccum pump on my 84 1.6na to prime it, and I can't seem to get it to line up with the oil pump again
I can get the gears to mesh, but it won't drop down the rest of the way, I searched a while
Just thought I would ask here for tip or trick
I hope this is the right section to post in
Regards

I would try pushing down on the vac pump and turning the engine over by hand. Should be 19mm socket if it is the 12pt bolt.

Thanks guys
I chilled out for a bit, took my time and worked it a little twist at a time, in, out, in, out, etc...then boom it dropped in
Sure appreciate your time
