I finally dropped in my motor/transmission minus cylinder head. Slowly installing things on the block because I don't want to scratch the detroit diesel alpine green painted block. I do have a question, while installing the rotary vacuum pump, I installed an o-ring under the base where it contacts the engine block, but it seems that the o-ring isn't so think. Can this be right? Also, I installed the Sabo rear main seal with a cutoff 2-liter bottle, I hope the spring didn't dislodge, because if it did, there goes my Exedy light weight clutch/flywheel combo! I will have pics as soon as I get the head on and bolt the intake/exhaust manifolds. This build has taken an eternity!
