EBC on a K26 with metal pipe for wastegate->compressor
« on: April 23, 2010, 07:45:59 pm »
Hi all,

Next question. How would one go about hooking up one of Malone's EBCs to a K26? My old garrett had a rubber section which you can splice. The K26 has a metal pipe from the wastegate to the compressor housing.

Anyone done this?

could you just chop a section of the piping and splice it in with rubber hoses like a garrett?

That's one of the thoughts we're running with. The other being to get some brass elbows from Mopac and some rigid hose to replace the whole contraption.

On my K24 I just cut a little bit out of the metal tube and connected my controller there.  Worked fine... :)
