I consider my new wheels upgrades.....

just picked these up this morning 370 miles round trip in the little jetta.  she wants her new shoes bad.  and some brand new bilsteins were waiting for me when I got back. 

enkei 13x6 4x100 et 38





due to be wrapped in 175/50 or 70/is.  still on the fence about that.

are those enkei wheels supposed to be something special? cause i have a set of 14x7's that came on my GTI. they are black mesh with polished lips.

Why aren't you rockin' em KEVO!? They would get approvals on the whortex.

i think there kinda ugly tho, i like the BBS meshies, not the enkeis. thats just my personal taste. my enkeis are cool, dont get me wrong, i just dont dig them much.

so the real reason for the wheels.  new bilstein sports with some weitec 60/40 springs.   ;D  springs haven't shown up yet, but when they do.........

Why'd you need different wheels just to lower it?

Those five spokers are totally my style!!!! :D
'82 Rabbit, I put on a euro vnt-15, 2.25" DP, 2.5" exhaust, the result.....it whistled.

I removed the turbo, made a toilet bowl 2.5" DP, the result....it was deafening. Now it has a homemade muffler up front and a thrush in the rear, the result.....less loud.

That looks good. I've never seen mesh wheels that I actually liked on a mk1.
