Did they ever make a wolfburg edition rabbit?
80 and earlier cars were german. 81 and later were american or mexican or what have you...
ive heard of wolfsburg cabbys, but thats it. never heard of a normal rabbit being a wolfsburg.
well if pre-80 rabbits were built in Germany.. at there Wolfsburg plant.. would it not be a Wolfsburg

?
What classifies a Wolfsburg? I would think any car that came out of that plant.. as anyone from Westmoreland, Pennsylvania.. are Westies eh?
Did all the rabbits built in Westmoreland come with the rectangle headlights? and did all the Wolfsburg rabbits come with rounds? Curious I am.

dunno about all of them, but i know a good majority were that way. american cars got american lights. euro cars got euro lights.

I'll go with yes. Don't forget there are early and late westies.
i have an 80 rabbit with rect lights. that would make it an early westy right? but it has a german fuse panel and fuses...
Early ones don't have the turn signals built into the grill

What's the first digit of the VIN?
What's the first digit of the VIN?
That's the money question right there.
i would say if it were an 80.. with early westy front.. yet was built in wolfsburg plant..it would in fact be a late wolfy

eh? lol
