its now 98 percent hack free.  couple other little minor ones, and it'll be back to oem .  
hoping for new viton lines next week from greaseworks in salem (for 100, all of the lines needed )

its starting to look a little better for the summer

i am always most proud when i fix all the previous owners hacks.  a lot of the time it looks like they spent more time on the hack than it would have taken to fix it the right way

i have a bad habit of rescuing mk1's from idiots.  this is the last one i picked up for 280 bucks.  had some hacks.  fixed it up real quick for nine bucks, and tripled up in just over a week.  best part, the new owner had a perfectly running 78 rabbit that needed nothing.  For less than a grand
