WTB: 1.9 Head (Either TDI or IDI)

Looking for someone, snapped Timing belt bent all the valves, they need a 1.9 Head. I don't know yet if its IDI or a TDI. all I know its a 99 Jetta. I'll know more tomorrow night. Let me know if you have either, and PM me a price.

99 is TDI but it could be ALH or AHU

My guess is ALH.  The AHU and 1Z were in the MK3 Jettas/Passats.  I had a '99 Jetta TDI and I'm 99% sure it was ALH.

99 is the changeover year though

Yes, but there's a '99 Jetta which will be an AHU or the '99.5s which were ALH.  Easiest way to determine is the body style.  If it's Mk III it'll be a AHU (unless someone swapped of course) and if it's Mk IV it'll be an ALH.
