Hiya everyone;
The *VW ARMY* is in negotiations for a venue in the London-Woodstock area for a NEW VW Show at the end of May. It will be a fund-raiser to raise $$ and awareness for Young Adults with (stupid!) cancer!! I was one of those people last year and support for us aged 18-40 with cancer was non-existent! the I'm Too Young for This! cancer support organisation seeks to address that lack of support!
So we are planning a show!! Please come out and show your support! It will be non-judged and we hope to have some sponsors for door prizes and a 50/50 draw and just a fun relaxing time while helping the young adult cancer cause!
Date is May 29 OR 30; it just depends on when we can get the venue; but mark your calendars for that weekend and STAY TUNED!!!
Let's help 'burnout' stupid cancer!!!

Hope to make it if it's the 29th. My band is playing a party on the 30th.... (hint hint, make it the 29th!). Lisa wants to meet you in person. Me too.
Patrick
Ack! Well, it looks like it's leaning towards the SUNDAY since more people can make it then!
Gah; we must meet up some day!!!
Tell Lisa to bring your car!
Lisa says if she goes she'll just bring her own volkswagen, it's in better shape anyway. Pick the right date and I'll see if I can get you a band. It's a fundraiser, right?

Have to see what time I'm playing, might be able to swing an hour or two early in the morning. Lisa would like too meet you!
Hiya Patrick;
Well, guess what; Fairboard had to change the date on us; it will be SATURDAY after all!
Hope you can make it!
I'll be there, at least for a few hours. Lisa wants to meet you. Wanted to have a new car ready to go, but it's not going to happen. The buddy I have that's nice enough to let me use his shop has a broken arm and farming to get done, so the car is on hold! My daily beater ('92 jetta with AAZ, 487,000kms and hail damage) will have to make the trip unless Lisa wants to bring the golf. Any news/details of the event?
Anyone else going? just waiting for the rest of the clan to get out of bed and we're off!
You guys missed a good show yesterday. Weather was gorgeous. Tara did a great job, freindly people, lots of door prizes. We just went to see the show, but she made me put in my beater! Probably a quarter of the cars were smokers, and there was some neat aircooled stuff too. The baby blue scirrocco beside my beater sports a 16V with turbo...... the gold truck has a cranked AAZ........ Have a look at the pictures on my wife's facebook page.
