Thinking about running a GT2560 (GT28r), any thoughts?
« on: March 12, 2010, 02:53:37 am »
ive been staring at the maps forever trying to remember how to read them correctly... but its looking like both the GT2554 and GT2560 are right about the range im looking for. and i can get them both in a .48 T3 4bolt housing and run an external gate.

this will be on a probable 1.6B/1.9H setup + giles + studs + cometic Hgasket

Do you guys think one of these will be a good match?
my goal is to make 170hp in a daily driver that i plan on keeping forever.... is my goal too unrealistic?

GT25 is a bit big for such a small engine, a GT2260 would be a better match.

Not meaning to hijack your post but I've been thinking of getting a Cometic head gasket as well, but rummaging through their site I can find any listed for the diesels?? Would you have a part number or link?

Again sorry for the hijack. Thanks.
If you can't take advice - then you can't be helped!

ask 53willys he knows where to get em.

nothing in the GT22 size comes in ball bearing. A 2854/2860 should spool like a t3 will a ball bearing cartridge and be good for 25psi
