i DIG the cabby.. specially the charcoal one!

i cant remember, does it have a turbo? if not, it needs one..
92 Jetta GLI - Black, 1.6D w/ GT2056V turbo..
86 GTI - 4 Door, Med Twilight Gray, Tow Machine..
86 Audi Coupe GT - Tornado Red, All Stock.. WRECKED.
89 Toyota 4Runner - Dark Grey Metallic, LIFTED!

Turbo: exhaust gasses go into the turbocharger and spin it, witchcraft happens and you go faster.

Me resealing a Tdi pump
1985 jetta TD. It was free, and it shows. Down and dirty engine refresh made it run fairly well.... No leaks, except water into the cabin!

2001 golf Tdi. Heavy built ALH, soon to have a PD Frankenstein motor.

Me and my AAZ M-TDI ride south of Moab, on a 150 mile off road trip. Of course I was the only one who never had to refuel.  :D

^^ Love the Land Rover, Jim! Having an M-TDI in it just makes it cooler, if that's even possible!

Here's a more recent pic of me with the blue toque, trying to listen to SmokyEddy's music. I don't know why he has a sandwich on his head though..

enough boost is when you have 3 dimple marks in the hood from the valve cover nuts..  ;D

Your lady thinks you "Need Hawt", as in water, and degreaser.  Soak over an hour and scrub with wire brush and then follow up with bristle brush.

A-thank ya.

I've had a blast working on this car. I can't learn by reading so this was a great chance for me to learn about how engines work by really getting my hands on everything. And plus, the condition on which we got the car was if I could have a serious hand in working on it. He pled his case to me on picking the car up and when I finally said "you think it will need a rebuild right? Well, we can get the car if I can work on it too!" he got pretty happy haha. I was in college 2 hours away when we first got the car so any work he did at first (timing belt, water pump, and some other stuff...we drove the car a bit before we rebuilt it) and would get pretty jealous if he spent time working on the car without me  >:(

I can now do some work on my own car and will be helping with the timing belt job and 5-speed swap on our '01 TDI we just picked up (will eventually be his DD). I'm definitely a car girl  ;D
