I had a Renault 1.9 wagon years ago, most comfy seats EVER
Yeah- French seats are for comfort, German seats are for masocists. I got so sick of being brutalized in my Caddy I found some Renault Fuego seats for it (when there were still some of them around)- they are comfy.
As for the mono spoke steering wheel, if you think that was radical in the 1980s, how do you think it was in 1955 when the DS was introduced with one?

I am really tired of the seats in my Caddy too...they are from an 84 Jetta...what are the best factory seats that will bolt in a Caddy anyways? talk to me people my kidneys are failing
I thought it was butt ugly at first but it is growing on me

.
I had some from a 90 GTi in a caddy once and they hurt too. I am 6 feet and 200lbs though. I think you have to be 5'10 and under 175 to be able to operate a Caddy. sucks cause they are awesome if you get a good one with a turbo engine (like I have

)
I'm 6'1" barefoot and 290# and I checked out a friends caddy recently

I'd need a extended cab caddy!! LOL I don't think I could even drive it. My Golf is great for me though.
Now you know how sardines feel
That's why I sold my caddy.. Got sick of squeezing in the darn thing.. Must something about large people and VW's.. Checking out seats at the junk yard, every stinking one is broken down flat... The guy that gave me the blue '84 Bunny was 6'6" and probably 350lbs.. He drove that thing for 15 years.. No padding left in that seat whatsoever...
On topic, I'd so drive that wagon!!! But, its too nice for me.. I'd be shot for throwing an engine in the back or driving it through the junkyard...
