Boost pin problem

1.6TD pump I pulled the boost pin out check it, now won't go back in. Do I need to loosen something?

you need to push the little pin that rides on the boost pin back in.

if you move the throttle lever while the boost pin is out the little pin in the pump will pop out making it hard to replace the boost pin.

just take a flat head screw driver and push it back in.
