78 rabbit part out, NO DASH! NO FRONT END!
« on: January 30, 2010, 08:39:49 am »
I am parting out the 78 bunny I have in preparation of putting the diesel motor in, if you need anything from it let me know.  Pm me, list is too long to include everything.  Interior is Burgundy in color, window rollers are mixed and matched, etc but interior components are in good shape, just need some cleaning.  This is a gasser, and has a 1.8 in it non-gti with an modified auto tranny that has a rediculously loong third gear.  I also have a complete 84 gti-motor with over 250000 miles on it, it will need machining, and i'm pretty sure that the head is toast :o.  I'll post pictures as soon as possible.  Bad rings combined with a bad bearing equals piston slamming the head..... over and over=hamburger meat head. ::)

you know, decarbonated beer is a better coolant than the stuff you buy at the auto store, and is better for you...... really

I also have an hydro 8v complete engine for sale or parts, would prefer to sell the thing complete but will part out, has everything, ran great.  The valves were bent in the head, this is the smaller 38mm intake vale head I don't really know what to ask for it.  I just wrecked my car and need dough bad make me an offer I can't refuse.  Need anything, just ask, I probably have it, alternator, starter, A/C motronic?/CIS computer, etc.  call 661 816 2150 Kevin

thanks,

Kevin

it is a correct 78' a burgundy interior, I have everything you need cept the dash what all are you looking for?  I stripped out the interior in preparation of putting the roll cage in it. Also, it should be noted that there is no headliner and all of the plastic vinyl stuff on the walls flaked away looong ago, but just let me know what you need.   I can get you pics soon, just hang on for a couple of days till I get the chance to get in there and pull everything out.

thanks,

Kevin
