• what is the best, or easiest way to increase boost?  not too much boost but enough, it's for a 1.6TD no intercooler, just want somemore boost, what can i safely run, and how do i get it?  what kind of gains could i expect from doing so?  oh and what is stock boost on a 91 TD jetta? isn't it like 8?  can i get 12-14 safely?

• You can run 20-30 psi with no issues, although it is way out of the compressor effeciency range. I would suggest running 20 psi. I would realy discourage running more boost without having a 2.5" downpipe and freeflowing exhaust. Stock boost is around 10psi. I use an electronic boost controller setup that works really well for me and you can adjust the boost from inside the cockpit!   Excuse the ghettoness there but you get the idea. Passenger Performance will be offering an easy install your self electronic boost controller kit very soon for our IDI engines including an aluminum block off plate for the inatke manifold.

• Oh I also forgot to mention that adding boost will not make more power unless you add more fuel.

• Adding more fuel is quite easy, but adding fuel means higher exhaust gas temps which means you will need an egt/pyro gauge. The gauge themselves are fairly expensive but the install isn't too hard just time consuming. If you need any help or any of this work performed that I have mentioned we are only 3 hours away from you.

  Wow looks like I'll be buying a crapload of stuff from you guys if you keep adding new products like that lol! Plus you are in Canada so no stupid crossing the border tax (from USA to Canada).
  
  The "smoke" screw on the fuel pump is a good place to start. And the governor mod seems quite easy to do.

  with that muffler im getting, the inlet was 2.25inchs, is that still okay if im going to get 2.5inch piping?

  I haven't found a specific compressor map for the .42 compressor but between the .40 and .45 maps it looks as though it is within the efficiency island up to about 24 psi.

• Most people run no muffler on these TD's as the turbo quiets them down quite a bit, There are at least 4 locals just running open dp's here they don't even want the rest of the exhaust. If you do get a muffler make sure it is at least 2.5" and a freeflow muffler, you want to be able to look right thrugh it.

• Is downpipe in Golf 1.6 GTD with SB engine and intercooler (Europe) bigger than downpipe in normal TD? Is it good to make bigger exhaust? Will I get any increase of power?

  No, it is the same so you'll have to fabricate your own or buy one
  
  A larger exhaust flows more exhaustgasses so you engine will run a bit cooler, can dump more exhaustgasses and the turbo will spool up faster
