84 Jetta in my state (western South Dakota)

I don't know who has this. Odd, I never saw it around and about!!! There are NONE of these around anymore except the gas 2-door I sold this past summer which looked just like this....only much better!
Anyway, I don't think it will sell at this price. He has it on ebay as well.

There are several good photos on ebay...and really it is quite nice.

I did get $2500 for the gas car though...so, you never know.

I've noticed that listing also.  I drove out to Ohio to look at a MkI Jetta last summer (which didn't work out for me.)  This one is much closer.

In 2003 I scored a Jetta like that on Ebay. It was an 84 Jetta GL turbo diesel, factory AC and PS, white exterior/light blue interior. Car was from Austin TX and it was MINT. Like a fool I sold it to this guy from VT who drove it around in the salt and dirt roads. I ended up buying it back off him a couple years ago for the GF, it had deteriorated a lot by then though ...what a great car I wish VW still made them, that and Mk1 Caddys maybe upgraded to a TDI.

Dane, he is just slightly over his reserve on it tonight. My guess is that he will lower the reserve toward the end. I think the body on this car is just as good as it looks. However, I did not go look at it.
I've still got that very nice Eco in storage (now) here in Rapid City if you ever wish to spend that much. Mitchell ain't THAT far away!

Part of the problem for him is that his ebay commission is going to be about $350 or more .
