I bought two different Coolant hardlines pump to firewall heater hose  (AAZ & TDI )from the VWdiesel website for my AAZ 1.9TD

The TDI and the AAZ are interchangeable, the TDI pipe does have a extra mounting tab on the rear

The aaz line from them does have the vw part # on it and Iam not sure if it is old stock ?

I bought both for 20.00 and the aaz model is around 9.00

I did see some rust under the paint of the new assy,so iam going to bead blast and check for additional corrosion and then powder coat when finished.

I was told that a New was about 87.00 from VW , and iam also trying to find the plastic clip part #'s that attach to the hardline to hold the engine wiring harness ?

I need five clips since there not included on the coolant pipe from the dealer or the vwdiesel wesite.

I have  purchased some convoluted black slitted tubing for my wires in my engine compartment so I can use the clips to hold my wire loom.( oil psi & oil temp ) gauges .

I would recommend this item only from this website.

GEE-BEE, I love you man, but I have no idea what you are talking about!

Coolant hard lines, got it.  I get confused for a while after that... Something about money....  Rust, bead blast, makes sense...  More money...  Plastic clip for wiring harness, I start to get lost again, beside an AAZ has like 6 wires, how much harness do you have?  Something about tubing...  Recommendation of a website, which one?

I need a drink,

Ian
