It's finally time to get rid of ol' faithfull. Some background on the car, I bought it back in 2003 with 230k. It was a daily driver until December when I decided to get something more comfortable and better looking. It now has about 286k.
Body wise it's in rough shape, rust in all the typical areas, a few dents dents and dings.
Mechanically it's in fairly good shape. Headgasket was changed a few thousand km's ago. Do a search of my posts and you'll see why
. Timing belt and crank pulley were changed at the same time. Tensioner was changed about 20k ago so I didn't bother with it.
Engine runs fairly well, since I bought the car I've only used synthetic oil, Delvac 1 5W-40, GC 0W-30 or Amsoil 5W-40 currently, Amsoil Series 2000 gear oil, fuel from Husky or Sunoco.
Here's whats been done:
-GTD Nozzles from Smog with original injector bodies installed about 20k ago. $200obo
-Home made, technically "CUSTOM" but I hate using that word, 2.5" stainless steel mandrel bent exhaust system from the turbo back. Stock cat still in place but no muffler or resonator. Really lets the turbo spool up and a nice fuel economy booster (2-3mpg) as well but a little loud. $500 obo.
-K&N stock panel air filter, installed when I bought the car. $30obo
-KYB GR2 shock and struts with H&R springs (1" drop from stock) and strut mounts. About 35k on the rears, 10k on the fronts. $400obo
-set of 4 Michelin Destiny all seasons on steel wheels (185/65R14) used about 30-35k but still in great shape because of the hard compound, great for fuel economy. $250obo
-set of 4 Michelin Arctic Alpine winter tyres on steel wheels (195/65R14) with about 15k on them. Still have about 50-60% life left. $250obo
The important bits:
Injection pump: still works, slight leak out the top. but could use a rebuild especially if you want to use it for performance purposes. I can ship to Giles for a rebuild if you are not local, he's only 30 minutes away. $250 obo
Turbo: K14 (I think) has the trapezoidal manifold flange. Has some shaft play. Will boost to around 18-19psi on a nice cold day, less depending on the temps. $200obo Conditionally SOLD
Cylinder head: Taken from a parts car that had about 290k on it. Typical cracks between the valves but nothing to be worried about.

If anyone is interested in purchasing the whole car I would be willing to for a fair price, mainly because of the parts. It would definitely need rear axle bushings and a new clutch
