unloading some of my cache MKI and other diesel parts
« on: January 23, 2010, 01:37:29 pm »
I have a number of extraneous parts leftover after the swap
I'm flexible on prices so make me an offer

here is a 22mm master cylinder I pulled from the boneyard. I got 2 and used the other one. It comes with the reservoir
this is the mc you need to swap disc brakes onto the rear of your MKI. Also a good idea if you are going to 16v scirocco brakes or corrado brakes up front
I'm asking $40

here is the powersteering pump off of the AAZ. I did not use it. I have no idea if it works
$20

Here is the crank and and pulley from my AAZ. Timing gear is SOLD
the crank nose and keyway look good, but it did spin some bearings and there is some light scoring on the journals visible to the eye, but you can't feel it with your fingers.
maybe if you had it turned down a bit and used a larger set of bearings. I just would rather not throw it out. Let me know if you want it.

here is the little cubby from the westy dash that goes under the heater controls. where some cars have AC vents. I have gauges there now.
it is in great shape
$20

somehow I ended up with extra oil flange gaskets (paper)
$1 each

oil seals are SOLD

Gasket is 028 115 441 C

here is the powersteering set up out of my 1982 rabbit
included are:
power steering rack
Pump
brackets
pulleys
almost new contitech v-belt
reservoir
u-joint shaft (it is shorter than the manual one, this is a hard to find part)
u-joint shaft boot
tie rods (no ends though)
you will need new tie rod ends and hoses.
this system worked, but did leak, and I do not know which part was leaking
$100 firm. even if the pump or the rack ends up needing replacing the core charge on the rack is over $200

shoot me a message if you want anything here
Cheers,
Ryan

I will take the KO3 Turbo gasket, and that hose fit's fine (coolant ) they changed the design from a one piece to a three piece plastic fitting type.

The hose I sent you connects the coolant line from the firewall, bumps up to the cylinder haed line, you will need 3 hose clamps there

The intake duct list from VW for 122.00, fits 1.6 td and 1.9 TD

You probly just got the two mixed up

coolant hoses AAZ turbo and Non turbo models
037-122-058     15.96
028-121-053 Q 18.88  ( this hose goes up to the head ) longer of the two assys

Alright I will send you the K03 gasket GB that should square us up right?
I assume your return address is on that hose I should be receiving in a few days? If not just message it to me.

well I must have the earlier design on the coolant hose.

are you suggesting I ask more for the intake manifold? doesn't seem fair now

I will take the tensinor, I have a AAZ alt bracket for the fixed type alt ( a/c) model it has the arm and there is a bracket that attaches to it to hold the a/c compressor ( 90 or 120 amp )

I now have both alt type brackets, Iam going with the non a/c install with a new Bosch 90 amp alt.
