Daytime running lights

My 94 Jetta ended up in a flood that was up to the steering wheel inside. I emptied it and drove it home, stripped the interior and pulled the fuse box. I opened it and sprayed the corrosion out of it and put it back a couple of days later when things were dried out inside. I have replaced the toasted glow plug relay and checked out the systems. So far everything is working except the daytime running lights won't go off when the parking brake is on or when I turn on the light switch. I have chased the wiring using my bentley book, but just can't seem to find the problem. Any ideas?

Days and a few curse words later, I pulled the fuse panel for the third time, put power to the headlight circuit and chased where the power went. turned out to be an internal short that didn't show using a continuity tester.
I opened it up and checked it out. couldn't find any issues, so put plastic spacers between a couple of the circuits and put it back together. now it works. Crossing my fingers that all is well.

Where in Vernon did it flood? There are going to be tons of electrical problems with this car now. I doubt they will let up anytime soon. If water got into fuse boxes, relays, switches etc, it's going to just sit inside of them and do weird stuff. Too bad it wasn't 25+ degrees out.
My best advice would be to either wait it out and let the car dry out as much as possible in a garage or somewhere else that's heated. If not possible, wait till summer. And if it can't wait, start replacing things that fail.
