aaz injector pump
« on: October 25, 2005, 10:02:04 am »
The aaz which i have fitted to my camper doesnt seem to be pumping any fuel, it is connected straight to the fuel filter. Is there supposed to be a secondary fuel pump? My old jx was self priming and connected this way.

I can hear the stop solenoid clicking so don't think it is that, anyone any ideas?
also the flywheel timing is not accurate with the pump and cam, i was hoping to see the no 1 piston when I took out the injector but it is not visible, is there another way I can get no1 on tdc?

Mine is the mechanical pump,  although it has some electrical connections on it which I am hoping to ignore.  Thanks for the advice, i hadn't thought about the heater plugs.
