190mm clutch in a 200mm flywheel/pressure plate?

would there be any issue with this?
or a 190 clutch on a 210 flywheel/PP?

I have a good line on a cheap(and cheaply shipped) 190mm sprung center four puck, but don't have any 190 flywheels or pressure plates, I dont really want to have to get new ones, so I was wondering if there was any issues with just installing it in the flywheel/PP I have.

question answered, searched the vortex and got my answer.

should work fine, smaller clutches work fine with bigger flywheel/PP, just not the other way around.

just bought a four puck sprung center 190mm clutch from bildon motorsport, which is the only company I have found with incredibly reasonable shipping to AK( I am only paying $4 in shipping)

 Less rotating mass.
 How much did you pay for the disc?

the four button clutch should fix that problem

the rotating mass should be negligible, as the flywheel and pressure plate will be the same(most of the mass is in them)

the only reason I got the 190 is that they did not have a 200

the flywheels are only milled big enough for their originally equipped clutch..

generally the flywheel determines the max diameter of clutch you can run..

the 200 may not even fully contact the friction surface, if at all. im not a quantum expert, but i know that on a R/G/J setup, if you have a 190mm flywheel, you have to run a 190mm clutch.

200mm fw with a 190mm plate and disk works, but i dont think it works backwards of that.

the machined area of said flywheel determins max diameter clutch used... else the clutch ends up in the non machined area and well.. will be stuck and unable to be released..

so on the quantium.. look at the machined area is all i can say...

on the other style.. 210mm will fit them all.. 200 will fit 200 and 190 and 190 only fits 190..

After doing more searching it sounded like this 190mm, 4-puck disc was grabby for him.
 If you got moving a little bit, and got the clutch all the way released before getting on it,
 it was smooth enough for city driving.

owen was using a 190mm in a 020, i doubt an 020 clutch works on a quantum setup? maybe it does? who knows?

 Soo what was the part number for the disc and how does it feel?
 Easily streetable?

terrible streetability, but would hold and launch like nothing else.

really only good if you have a big motor and drive it hard.

a six puck would be much better.
