I have been working on my twin turbo project over the last couple of years and finally got it working really well. A guy who works upstairs has been checking up on me every once and a while to see how thing are coming along. Anyway we were both driving out of the parking lot, leaving for lunch at the same time and he rolls down his window and says "lets see what your VW can do". He's driving his newest toy an 08 Audi S6 quattro with a V10 5.2 L. I was kind of curious to see how well my car would do. I figured I would take him off the start and then he would come blasting by. So we cound down 3,2,1, go and we step on it. I was concentrating on a good launch and a good shift into second with out to much wheel spin, I knew if she broke loose in second it would be all over. So I didn't look to see where he was at untill I shifted into 2nd, I looked over expecting to see him beside me, when I noticed his front bumper was at my rear quarter panel. I put it in to 3rd waiting for him to go by, he slowly started inching his way up, but never even made it up to my door. We were doing about 115 when he backed out of it because he had to make a left turn ahead and I was in the left lane. I'm sure if we kept going he would have eventualy passed me but I was pretty excited to have beat him, besides if he didn't back out of it I would have had to my EGT's were at about 1350 F. He was shocked, but a good sport about it, he made no excuses.

Yah , i've driven one of those , and they are quite amazing, but i'm not suprised you beat it past 100. they're pretty heavy so getting off the line. Who needs to go past 115 anyways !

we still dont know what sort of a twin turbo ride you have tho? it would be way sweeter to know what you were driving. for all we know you could have been in a duramax with 100 psi boost.

I have a 97 MTDI Jetta running 35 psi boost(AHU motor). I know you can run 35 psi or more from a single turbo set up, but I found compounding turbos give a wide power band range and insane torque. Still a work in progress, I have to cure my high EGT issue. I'm swaping the primary turbo this winter.
Have a Merry Christmas!

I live in Canada so when I say he backed out of it at 115 I'm talking kilometers per hour not MPH.
What kind of pics? Engine or action? Kind of hard to lean out the window at 100 km/h

Here are some pictures of my car and my current twin turbo set up. I also added some pictures of my big turbo project that I tried before the twins. It didn't work very well as a daily driver, major turbo lag thats why I went for the twin set up . I am going to change the exhaust manifold and primary turbo(too restrictive causing high EGT's) I will post some more pictures when I'm done.
