• I recently purchased a 94 Jetta 1.9 TD. The instrument cluster is MPH with the correct tach. My question is there a difference in the VSS from KPH to MPH being it was from Canada.
  It is a legal US car...

• Nope, different label on the speedo and temp gauge, and the odo will be calibrated differently, but as far as I know Vss is an industry  "X counts per mile" standard.
