Picture request, 5 and 6 cylinder engines
« on: December 15, 2009, 05:50:52 pm »
Hi everyone,

I'm looking for pictures of 5 and 6 cylinder TDI engines. Anything you have would be great. Specifically I am looking for pictures of pump mounting and timing belt configurations. If you can include engine codes that would be fantastic.

Thanks
Tyler

2.5 v6 IP is front & center on top driven from the drivers side cam. Not sure of the engine code on these.

sorry about the thread hijack ::)

after workin on a few and seeing there common faults i am totaly against the V6, its all about the 5 pot, best engine ever, a couple of design flaws but its strong as *** and if you treat it right it will never let you down

i have a mechanial pump from a t4 2.4 idi , i will use that pump for my bace pump for the 2.5 tdi ,  the head with the plunger and cam plate from the 2.5 E tdi pump and fit it to my t4 2.4 idi pump but with a few tweeks and moded parts inside , hope the pump will be good for 250-280 hp , might put it in my 49 chevy stepside pickup :P ;D ;) :-* i also have a LT 28 rwd gearbox and all the engine mounts to make it rwd  ;)

I feel a bit stupid asking this question, but can I post pictures directly to this site (doesn't seem to say so in FAQ)?  Or do I have to host them somewhere and link them???
