I have read through many if not all posts on the governor mod that are available. From what I've read it is a good idea to replace the intermediate spring with a 1/16" washer. What I'm not clear on is whether I need to take the intermediate spring seat out. From what I can tell when I removed the intermediate spring the main spring is still preloaded from the spring seat. I would really love it if I didn't have to take the pump apart again right away, so any help is appreciated. To those of you that have done the governor mod a picture of your finished spring assembly would help many besides me. I look forward to hearing from you.
