Need wiring diagram for 1.9TD (cut ground cable, pic inside)

When I turn the car on or if I put my key on accessories, the cluster turns off, only the turning lights signals still work, it has nothing to do with the radio because if I go back at the key's first position the radio stays on and the cluster comes back from the dead... The only clue I have so far is a cut ground wire on the driver's side of the engine (small cable, not the big ground going to the battery)... Someone has the wiring diagram for a 1.9TD (it's in a 1997 Golf without AC)?



Here's the cable (at the bottom in between the center and the right corner), I know it was connected to something before, I just don't remember where...

Soooooooooooooooooo.... nobody can at the very least check in their 1.9TD enginebay to see where this ground cable goes to?

Here you go....Neg wire goes into wiring harness behind Cluster.




Looks like you need a Valve cover Gasket also....leaking quite a bit of oil onto engine.

Yeah, was leaking before, but now it's just dirty because I never cleaned it after changing the gasket :p

It's strange, I don't have any other black cable this size that's cut on the big round connector (the one on your picture), unless the cable disconnected itself directly at the connector, I'll go take a look

Problem solved, thanks! The smaller black cable was the one connecting to the bigger black cable, go figure...
