If you had a buyer for your car in the States, couldn't you just drive the car across the border and leave it in a parking lot. Jump in the buyers vehicle and let him drive you back home or to someone across the border that will take you home. Then the buyer goes back to said parking lot with a tow dolly and tow the car to his shop/garage?
Just wondering if the above scenario would work. (Especially, if you just wanted to get the car into the states and then use it for a parts car.)
It has occurred to me that the process for purchasing a used automobile is something of a mystery to some, or perhaps it works differently other places, I dunno
At any rate, I am going to simplify it. Here is how I would expect the deal to go down.
First you come and look at the car.
Second, if you like the car, you beat me up on the price, we reach some agreement and you then give me the agreed upon sum. Cash please.
Third, I sign the registration over to you, remove my tags and you take the car away by whatever means you are comfortable with.
I am a busy man so other scenarios will not be entertained. Those who fully understand the concepts outlined above will be given the highest priority and the lowest price.
I hope this post has been both humorous and educational, I hope I have not offended anyone.
Thanks,
Bruce Andrews
