Needed: 1.6TD mech 1 notch head gasket and 8 mech cam followers

Hello all,

I need to buy 1.6TD mech 1 notch head gasket and 8 x mech cam followers for my build. I have contacted a couple of forum vendors but they havent replied. Does anyone else have these parts available and are willing to ship to Melbourne, Australia?

(can i convert my head to hydraulic tappets just by installing hydraulic tappets?)

no, you cant put hydro lifters in a mech head, they are different(different valve lengths, different oil passages etc...)

if you don't mind used lifters I have a set you could have for I dunno $40USD plus shipping.

Thanks for the advice on the hydraulic lifters. I have a set of used mech followers that i may be able to use. As for the head gasket, does anyone on the forum supply these and are willing to ship to Australia?
