• Hi purchased this car on sunday
  
  cruise is not working
  
  In Sask we need to warm up the car before driving, I lock the door  the alarm goes off?  can I bypass or turn that feature off?

• for the cruise, check the vacuum lines and the fuse, and the switch on the stalk

•  I was working on a MK3 with no lock in the driver's door so I spliced these 2 wires:
  
  
   and the alarm never went off again.
   I can't remember what color they were,.. I think the green one had a white stripe
