Whats this part?

Hey guys..

I found this white ring in my store.. its seems to be a teflon ring and is an original VW part. Can some one please look it up in the parts catalog.

ppl. 321. 412.411
and 171 919 051N, its a fuel gauge sender.. can you please tell me for which VW is it?

Really appreciate the help.

There is one for sale in Italy on ebay (google vw 171 919 051N)...looks to be a sender for a Golf but no year was specified.

If it fit a Caddy i'd try to buy it...hard to locate these days  ;)

I think that is suppose to fit all MKI according to WorldPac buyers guide. No longer availible.  FYI a Superbeetle 113-919-051F should work ok in a Caddy but you have to use spade connectors instead of the stock electrical connector. I do believe that it will turn, and lock into the tank though. VW parts use to be very interchangable in the old days.

I dont really need a fuel sender. Once of my friends has an MKI, will ask him if he needs it.
