Has anyone used a Blackstone SAAB IC on there 1.6td mk2???

I just got a SAAB Blackstone IC, just wondering if anyone has used one and were they might have installed it? or is there any pics of any installs of IC in an mk2

I've got one that I'll be using on the Wife's car.  Have not mounted it yet.  I did see a picture of someone else that used one, mounted it on the passenger side and it looked pretty good.  I can't find the post now though.

My plan on mounting it is finding the easiest place to put it that will require the minimum amount of fooling around with intercooler piping. 

I searched for that pic as well, couldn't find it either.  I'll try again later.  I don't remember the fella's screenname.

all i know is that, the callaway setup is from vwvortex.com

and the other was here on vwdiesel.net

it was a pain to find them but there wants much info on the pages were they were found anyways, if there was i would have book marked them...

I looked on www.kijiji.ca and I found it for like 45bucks delivered to my house by the owner... keep an eye out for them fairly cheap

That's a stock c900 intercooler.

My saab has one.  It kind of sucks.  Gets heatsoaked pretty fast.  I personally would probably not use it.

AN intercooler is still better then no intercooler. If space allows ill probably mount a fan onto it to cool it also....

I guess if I was going through the effort of fitting an IC, I'd get an ebay one for ~$75 shipped.  Or a dodge neon SRT4 one, which seems to be pretty decent.

I bought mine for $25 shipped, that's why I'm using it.
