FS: 1986 TDI Golf & 1991 Wolfsburg Jetta diesel

**Updated pictures 10/26/09 scroll down to view**

**I forgot keys to the Golf and will take more pictures Wednesday 10/28/09 of interior along with a video of the engine/turbo!**

I've got 2 VW diesels for sale as a tandem or separate.  I would prefer to keep them together, but that's for you guys to figure out!

Car #1:  1991 Jetta Eco-Diesel Wolfsburg with about 198,000 miles on it.  The engine is not operable; possibly a warped head.  Yea, bummer.  I replaced the headgasket but now it's blowing an engine seal after the valve stem seals were replaced.  The body is in great shape with only a little rust bubbling around the corners of the windshield.  Blue exterior with a light blue interior.  New battery, alternator, front brake system (caliper, rotor and pads), winter tires have about 35-40% tread left.  Probably other new stuff I'm forgetting.  Car is located in Rockville, MD.  Would need to be towed.  Pictures are below.  Vin# WVWRG21G4MW229438.  Title in hand.

Car #2:  1986 Golf Turbo Diesel with 270,000 miles on it.  The body is totaled, as someone drove into the passenger side.  The engine is the best part of the car; completely rebuilt about 8-10,000 miles ago with a brand new turbo and 3" exhaust all the way out.  All aftermarket, the pump was rebuilt and all hoses replaced for the new low sulfur as well as bio-diesel/veggie oil conversion.  The previous owner did all the work...and I have all the receipts.  The pump was also tweaked to allow more fuel than usual to enhance performance for the 20psi boost @3k.  The car is shot but the engine must live on to tell more smoke tales!!  This car also has BRAND NEW (literally) 17" wheels and tires with insurance (which can be transferred to new owner) purchased Aug 09 with maybe <500 miles driven on them total prior to accident in early September.  They can be included with an increase in price or sold separately (if anyone here is interested in only them, let me know).  Otherwise, I will put the old wheels/tires on, one of which is flat.  Car is located in Morrisville, PA.  Would need to be towed.  Pictures are below.  Vin# 1VWAG0172GV083923.  Currently waiting to receive a salvage certificate of title.

The deal with the locations is I intended to sell the Jetta, but it died on the way down to Maryland.  In the meantime, I found the Golf and that's been my daily driver until it was totaled in early September.  I live northeast of Philadelphia, PA and very close to Trenton, NJ (Interstate 95, PA turnpike, NJ Turnpike/Parkway).  I will try to get pic's up as soon as possible.  This is a great opportunity to swap an engine in for a sweet turbo Jetta.  Oh yea, both transmissions are great, too, but you all here know that already!

Please e-mail or PM any questions/offers.  I am not in a rush/hurry, but would like to see these gone by Thanksgiving.  I already have an offer of $500 for the Jetta, and am asking that at least for the pristine engine of the Golf.  For simplicity, I would prefer to sell them together.  These are the best "cash" offers I'm accepting.  I know what they're worth, and there's a lot of interest.  If you really want them, $500 is starter/base amount.

Trades no longer considered unless it's a 2wd/4wd truck.

Just a heads-up: I've moved so I haven't been around/checked my e-mail but will be posting pics soon.  If you e-mailed or messaged and I haven't gotten back to you, I will within the next day or two.  Expect pics tomorrow.

The Jetta is probably sold, too, but I will update the post accordingly if that happens.  Both cars are still in current locations.
