The FAQ links to some good discussions on what the gang feels are good probes and gauges.

If you search this site you will see we talk about this often... one source I like is
http://aircraftspruce.com/ For less than $100 you have one of aircraft quality and they look good.

I drilled and tapped my manifold intake and exhaust....
Okay so i spent a extra 150.00 per gauge ......
Egt/boost
water/ volt
oil psi / oil temp
Intake came cack from powder coating ( 40.00 ) silver
manifold and turbo housings back from ceramic coating also
I did the headers for my turbo 997 and my exhaust system from techtonic's for 200.00 in black

You will definately want the Spruce thermocouple as it is much faster than most of the included ones that come with some gauge kits. Egauges has the Autometer Sport Comp which has just basic lighting but without the thermocouple for $99, $139 with it and the Spruce thermocouple with the extension wire doesn't cost as much. Egauges has every type and brand of gaue under the sun and their prices are as good as anyones and they have a better selection if lighting is a big concern. Also if you want a pod to put multiple gauges in then check out Glowshift online, their prices are the best I've seen, I got a 3 gauge top of dash type pod last winter from them for like $10.

If your on a budget check out glowshift guages. A lot of guys at the cumminsforum use them on their pickups. I have not got them yet for my dodge, but price is right and they are accuarate.

I used a glowshift one, good price, reacts fast and very accurate.
I am not in love with the multi color backlight though.
