92 eco cooling fans?

I need to replace the motor on the cooling fans for a 92 ecodiesel, but i can't seem to find a replacement. The part number is 357 959 455 H, and it has 4 connections, 3 wires come from the radiator switch, the 4th is the ground.

Most catalogs do not know what fan motor the ECODIEsel takes. They just list the single-fan setup off the NA diesel.

The fan motor is actually the same as the Corrado VR6 fan, so you can look it up that way. At least I'm about 90% certain the fans are the same. Here's the Corrado Part number:

100 959 455 L

There is no other VW fan motor with the same profile and offset. I went thru this when I was fixing and selling a 1991 ECOdiesel. You MAY have to swap the aux-fan pulley off your existing motor, but the offset and everything else should be the same.

P.S. Looks like the plug isolator came off the fan unit with the electrical plug. Be sure to pull that off.

Also, if you need a fan motor, I might have a good used one. I had about 3 of these at one time.
