tons of 1.6 IDI stuff
« on: September 22, 2009, 05:36:27 pm »
My garage is full of all kinds of IDI oddball stuff, blocks, heads, turbos, timing covers, air boxes, pulleys, alternators, starters, manifolds, and probably every thing else. I don't have any good pumps though. If anyone needs some odd part please email me: ilikevw diesel at yah00 d0t c0m. I need to lighten the load before the snow flies.
Look, if corn and kudzu fall in love and have a baby in a lab under the supervision of scientists working in my employ, WHO AM I TO STOP THAT other than the CEO responsible for stopping it???

I did a total grenade job on my mechanical head TD. Not yet sure what all I need, but a head/cam at least. You have one of those that's a good core?

I have a Westy I am converting from aircooled to MTDI. I have a second van for all the cooling WBX and 4speed trans. I have the complete TDI engine harness and all sensors but no ECM or harness from the engine to the ECM.  I think a 1.6l intake will make the instal cleaner and easier.  contact me and advise on availability.  Regards,  David K
