I have a full bottom end if you need it, rods, crank, and .5mm over pistons.

I have a good crank if you like, I would want $125 for it.

Oh wow, I wasn't expecting 2 replies so quick.  :D

Helliouse, are the the parts used? And if you don't mind me asking, where did you get them from? I don't want Chinese parts or used pistons, but if they are good, it will save me from getting stuff elsewhere since my engine needs new rods, and .5mm oversize pistons. I'm planning on making a trip to Red Deer in the next few weeks, so I might be able to pick it up then if it works out. Also, how much are you asking?

The caveman, if the crank with Helliouse doesn't pan out for whatever reason, I'll get yours. Helliouse's is just closer. I hope you understand.  :)

No problemo. It's actually coming from an AHU block that has been modified to fit into a MK4

And I think that the AHU and ALH crank are identical, correct?

Ok, do you know the size of the con rods? I talked to Franko6 on TDIClub, and he says there are a few different sizes. I would need the right ones to make it work. The mid size is 4.162", but can be + or - .020", so I need to know the length. How many miles on the pistons? Also, how much are you wanting for this stuff?

The Crank and pistons are from the same ALH, bone stock. The pistons are still in box From Mike, so close to the same price.
PM me if you want to talk more on them.

Both the Crank and Rod where at a Engine shop in Red Deer AB. and are both in great shape, Crank still wrapped from there.

You need the Length of rods? EDIT: I will try to get it tonight and let you know on the morrow.

EDIT: finally had a chance to do this, it looks like its ~4.161"

I might be able to get it to you with out shipping costs. The company I work for has people working in Fort Mac. I might be able to get them to drop it off to you.
I will have to talk with them and see if they are willing, and when they will be coming down, but I think I can get it up there.

That might work if they come through town at the right time. But I am planning on heading down to Red Deer in the near future to bug friends, so that would work also. That and cash can exchange hands more safely.  ;)
