• Can anyone confirm if ARP 251-4701 is the correct 12mm head studs for an AAZ?
  Does anyone know the proper length of stud so I can double check?

• I'm not 100% positive but I think that is the only number used for the 12's on all the VW's.  It's actualy a Ford Escourt Cosworth part number, they don't have one specificly listed for us but it's the one we use. I know mine on the 1.6 is the 4701 number, I just threw the box away yesterday.

• Yeah, I think the same part number is used on all 8v diesels all the way to the PD's.

• In the Faq it tells us that all 12mm headed VWs are the same...11mm diesels have the same part # as the gassers...check it out and see
