Hi,
if anyone has any ARP studs around, or leftovers for whatever reason please let me know. I've got a D24T straight six and will need 1-1/2 sets, so I'm hoping to start making a pile of them untill I have enough.
Thanks,
Jason

What if anyone has a connection or can make a connection where we can do a group buy at a DEEP discount. Like $50 per head set.
I myself wouldn't be to finicky on a particular name so long as they were guaranteed and rated up to/beyond full specs.
I'm in for 1 or 2 sets of 11's
And 3 or 4 sets of 12's

I obviously need 1-1/2 sets so I would have to buy two... Do you know of someone that could set up a group buy?

Between here and Vortex, there has to be someone with an inside track in the nut and bolt business.
But i don't have one or know of one right off.
I guess we need to get the word out.
Who wants to ramrod this ?

I am in the fastener industry and the way ARP has it set up to go direct to them I would have a way, but we still wouldn't be but maybe 10.00 a set cheaper. The only way to go more is to buy 15,000.00 worth of ARP product and IIRC it is the full line not just a pick and choose. For around 1,500.00 IIRC we get about the same price as what summit racing has as retail minus 10.00. So we could buy about 15 sets of studs and I could set it up and we could save about 10.00 per set. I think it is free shipping after that but it has been so long I can't remember.
I also sell SPS Unbrako which has the highest tensile strength of any socket head bolt, but I have had no luck getting a rep to find answers to my questions on that. They also would be mega expensive since they are mostly military spec stuff when you get into the engine fasteners. Their regular socket head bolts are 190,000 PSI tensile strength...which is about 20% higher than any other out there until military/ARP stuff. They might have metric studs with that same spec, but I don't know.

Maybe I can piggyback on this, I am IN the Military, so Maybe, just Maybe there's something that I can do. I'll call and see what I can see, I want in on this too.

Hi Jason, I have a friend in Michigan who has been collecting a bunch of spare parts, and has been helping me out with my 5-cyl rebuild. He sold me just two ARP studs. I asked him if he had four more available for your rebuild and he said that's no problem. If you're still interested in these, let me know and we can work out the details.
