whats hybrid about your engine now?

and the 1.6 td pump would be better, it has a better suited LDA for fueling the VNT.
and uh, just bolt the VNT on ANY 8v VW, thats right, gas, diesel, anything, as long as it has 8 valves.
then you brew your own vain control and you are set.

Hello Tiago,

it sounds like you are wanting to convert a Non-Turbo 1.6 ,,,, into being a Turbocharged 1.6 engine.

Is that correct ?

If that is your plan, you will need quite a few more pieces of equipment than just the 1.6 TD Inj Pump and the VNT Turbocharger.

Can you tell us if your engine has the 11mm hex head bolts, or the 12mm triple-square head bolts ?

When I think of hybrid 1.6 td - I think 1.6td bottom end with a 1.9 AAZ head.

Is that what you mean?

If so - the 1.6td pump will work fine, 1.6 injectors will work too. You can use a VNT turbo but you'll need to figure out a way to control the vanes (usually done with IP throttle arm position).

i know, but he was talking about putting a 1.6 head on a 1.9 to make a hybrid. i thought we talked him out of it, but maybe not. and yea, usually i think hybrid, its a 1.6 bottom end and 1.9 head.

vaine to de vnt turbo? is that just some sort of non english language? and you are talkin about wanting a VNT? or taking the vaines out of it? im not quite following you.  and i would stick with some VW injector nozzles. probably just a TD pump and AAZ injectors DNSOD308? injector tips. lots of people on here swear by them.
