i've got a diesel instrument cluster from a late spec mk2 golf gtd with a rev counter that i was hoping to fit in to my early jetta, rather than going through all the hassle of changing my wiring loom to suit the clocks could i not just fit the rev counter in to my cluster and run the wiring for that separately from the wiring to the rest of the cluster? i've read that its just the W termianl wire that goes to the rev counter, so would it just be a case of running that wire straight to a wire on the tach?
if not then what options do i have?
