First, Is this a good pump?
I figure the lowest lever on the engine side is the "cold start"
Want to know what the upper lever on the engine side is. Cruise control? It's got a vaccum cable pull on it with very limited movment on the lever.
The top cover has the turbo tube going to it. Inside it has a spring loaded diaphram. Is this good?
The motor is a japan AAZ with low miles and a K03 on it.

theres nothing special looking at it from the outside.
it has no cold start, and if it did, it would be on the back of the pump towards the block.
and the thing on top is cruise control.
the top cover is for the LDA (boost enrichment).
you may or may not have the joke AAZ pin in that pump tho.

fast idle. It is vacuum actuated. Your engine has AC right?

Yes that means you have a LDA which will increase the potential for fuel when the engine is making boost. As mentioned, it probably has the "joke" pin in it
Yes it has AC. That clears up alot, thanks. Now I need to do a search on the "joke pin" and see what I got.
I will not be boosting the performance that much on THIS motor. I want this to just be reliable. I just have a problem with wanting to learn everything about what I have.
After this motor is in I would like to pick up another and bump it up some, keep this one as a backup.
